Another Bad Month for Nevada Online Poker Revenue

Poker Revenue Continues Decline in New JerseyOnline poker revenue in Nevada keep going in the wrong direction. The month of September was declared to be the worst yet according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board falling 6.7% which amounted to $693,000. The total gross revenue came from all three poker sites, not just one. Real Gaming, Ultimate and WSOP are the only three online poker sites to offer Nevada players online poker. If the revenues keep coming in on a downfall has industry operatives wondering for how long and hopefully will give them a reason to start enacting some major changes to improve.

September beat out August in terms of declination. August brought in a little more than $740,000 in revenues. If Nevada offered more than just poker there is a chance revenues could be increased, but that’s probably not going to happen for quite some time. There is some mobile betting allowed, but that isn’t considered online gambling in the states eyes. June of this year is still the leader in terms of peaked revenues. Online poker peaked at a little over one million for the entire month of June.

So far, the predictions of the online gaming market in the US to reach $5.2 billion by 2020 isn’t looking to promising. These predictions could be cut in half if the online poker market doesn’t pick up and see a significant increase in the months, or even years to come.
